Make your word your bond.
Contracts matter. Your word matters more. Let your yes mean yes and your no mean no, always.
The spirit of a deal is as important as the words of the deal. The contract describes what was agreed. The relationship determines whether the agreement holds when something goes sideways, which it will.
Do not dishonor yourself for any deal. There is no number large enough to make that math work.
