Five prayers a day, three hundred and sixty-five days a year. That is the consistency the religious tradition I was raised in asks of me.
I run my company on the same shape. Small, meaningful, consistent steps every day. Not a hare’s exuberant flash followed by a long nap. A tortoise’s pace, applied tirelessly, for as long as the work requires.
The hare wins races inside television shows. The tortoise wins businesses in real life.
