After
The story does not end with the founding. The rest of this site is the next chapter.
You have read the journey from the village to the drying-room.
The drying-room office became a real office. The real office became a building. The building became a company that ships engineering teams to clients across the United States and the Gulf. The company became sixteen years old. The owner is still the same person. The Texas LLC is still single-owner. The team is still in Pakistan. The work has compounded.
This site is the archive of what comes after the drying-room.
The writing on /writings is what I think about now. The notes on /notes are what I observed this week. The work on /work is what I am operating today. The giving on /giving is what I support. The now on /now is updated monthly with where my attention is.
If you read the memoir end-to-end, you will have noticed that I have not given you the dramatic version of the story. There is no scene where I stand on a mountain and look out and decide to be the operator I have become. There was no mountain. There was a drying-room, a customer, and an iOS engineer named Asad. The compounding came later. The compounding is still coming.
What I want to leave you with, if you read this far, is the smallest sentence the memoir can land on.
You are the kid in your own version of one of these chapters. The chapter you are in does not feel like a chapter. It feels like the whole story. It is not. It is one chapter. The next chapter is being written by what you do with the rest of today.
Mine took longer than I expected. So will yours, probably. Keep going.
Alhamdulillah.
